Most charge by the hour.  According to a recent survey conducted by the National Association of Senior Move Managers, nationwide, across the United States, average hourly rates range from $60-$140 per hour.  The complexity of the job, and the scope of the services selected will determine the number of hours needed to complete each client’s engagement.

In general, Movers are paid by the piece - an incentive to pack quickly and use as many boxes as possible.  Senior Move Managers pack to unpack, they use careful labeling so boxes are placed in the right rooms to unpack.  This equals a smoother Move Day. NEXTChapter also takes digital photographs prior to packing, so we can recreate the environment at your new home.  We unpack and put everything away, so the client feels settled from the very first day!

A:  Yes. We plan and pack (or unpack) for long-distance moves.
